Toujours côté français, si <strong>Marjane Satrapi</strong> et <strong>Vincent Paronnaud </strong>avec PERSEPOLIS se sont assez logiquement inclinés face à RATATOUILLE dans la catégorie <strong>meilleur film d’animation</strong>, <strong>Philippe Pollet-Villard </strong>a transformé l’essai des César en remportant l’Oscar du meilleur court métrage de fiction avec le très remarqué MOZART DES PICKPOCKETS.<br /> <br /> Le grand vainqueur de cette soirée restera, malgré tout <strong>NO COUNTRY FOR OLD MEN</strong> qui remporte quatre statuettes majeures : <strong>meilleur film, meilleurs réalisateurs</strong> pour Joel & Ethan Coen, <strong>meilleur scénario adapté</strong> et <strong>meilleur second rôle masculin</strong> pour <strong>Javier Bardem</strong>. <br /> <strong>L’Oscar du meilleur acteur</strong> est allé à l’ultra favori <strong>Daniel Day Lewis</strong> pour sa composition hallucinante et hallucinée dans <strong>THERE WILL BE BLOOD</strong> de <strong>Paul Thomas Anderson</strong> qui a également remporté l’<strong>Oscar de la meilleure photographie</strong>.
